Good Mexican food at a reasonable price.

Great food & drinks & atmosphere!!

Delicious fried ice cream! Share with someone, it's pretty big! Shared full order of chimichangas it's big too! Ordered to go, so don't know about sit down experience, but food was good and very fairly priced. The atmosphere was family friendly, not romantic and a bit stale in the decor arena. Great for family and friends.

Over priced . & only gave a few tortillas for a chicken fajita meal. Could get two meals for the price of their one at dos reales

I always really enjoy El Tequilas. But today I called in, and after barely getting through the order. I was rushed off the phone and told my order would be ready within 10-15 minutes. When I got there around 15 mintues later, I stood and waited another 30 to be asked what I had called in. I was brought a bag, that I checked, to see that over half my order was missing from it. There were things spilled all in the bag, and my order of shrimp fajita nachos had an entire uncut onion in it. While I was there, there were multiple people who had called in and were having trouble with their orders as well. It's a great place to sit down and eat, but I wouldn't recommend attempting to call in.

Best food ever! Staff is friendly and courteous. Always filling your glass when empty and are there to help.

This place was more delicious then expected !!! The shrimp Cameron I believe is what I had was the bomb ( probably butchered the name of the dish ). I ordered two steak tacos with cilantro and onions that was tasty. The nachos they fry fresh to order which is the best !!! Salsa could use more flavor but other then that I am defiantly recommending you give it a shot. I’m a picky eater so I was surprised myself yummy yummy !!😊

The waitress was fast and friendly. Food was excellent and they were more than willing to accommodate extra items such as roasted jalapeños. We will definitely return when in the area.

Very good small town Mexican restaurant! I had a combo with tamales, taco and tostada. None of it was run-of-the-mill. Good service. It is also open later than most of the other restaurants in town.

Just off 24. I had a very good steak with grilled vwggies. And an excellent margarita. My partner had a shrimp soup that was also really good. Great service friendly place. Worth stopping for.

Jose makes the best margaritas. Each item has it's own flavor. Not like Marion where everything tastes the same.

They were able to cater to 25 starving rock climber college kids. They did a pretty fine job at it.

Small just off the highway hole on the wall but wow delish fiesta bowl! Big shrimp and lots of chicken, beef, and veggies with just enough cheese, and a large 2.99 margarita. Only not so good item was salsa, could have been a bit more seasoning.

This is a casual restaurant with a lot of home town folks. It is a relaxed atmosphere and probably the best service I've experienced anywhere for a long time. They have a huge menu and a lot of items I've never seen before at other Mexican restaurants. When you pull up to the restaurant, the outside is kind of plain. But don't let that fool you. It's a lot of fun decor on the inside and the food was really good. If you've never tried them, then give these folks a shot. I think you'll be glad you did.

Had dinner out side, it was some of the best Mexican food we've ever had. The service was great.

Wow! During the covid-19 pandemic we were camping nearby and saw their outdoor seating. Walked up and we're immediately greeted by our waitress. The food was delicious and despite making accommodations for the odd Illinois phases, everything came like clockwork. Glad we found this gem on day one!

Dependable and reliably good Mexican food. The service is generally just average but the food is definitely about average and the owner/manager is always super friendly.

Maybe a 4! Good great, prices good, service good, Margaritas so so. You need 5 to have any effect! LOL 🤣 🤣
